What the tools store.

The formula builder, blotter journal, and course use your browser’s local storage to remember your work and progress. Formula and batch copies sent between tools are also kept in this browser. This data stays on the device and browser you use. The calculator inputs run in your browser; this version does not send formulas or journal entries to a server.

What can be lost.

Clearing website data, using a private browsing session, switching browsers, visiting a different domain, or moving to a different device can remove or hide those records. JSON export gives you a portable backup. CSV exports are useful for reading your work in a spreadsheet.

Accounts and tracking.

This version has no account system, advertising scripts, or analytics cookies. Fonts and site images are served with the website. A hosting provider may process normal request information such as IP addresses and access logs to serve and secure the site.

Downloads and external links.

Files you export are saved through your browser. Supplier and reference links take you to other websites, whose own policies apply. You can use our tools without following those links, although material documentation is important for practical work.

Removing your information.

Remove saved copies within the tools, or clear this site’s storage in your browser settings to erase local formulas, studies, drafts, transferred copies, and course progress. Export anything you want to keep first. Deleting a saved formula does not automatically erase its working draft or copies attached to journal studies.
