A sweet, creamy vanilla reference, supplied as crystals or as a labelled stock solution. Vanillin is one material; vanilla extracts and absolutes are more complex products and cannot be swapped gram for gram without changing a formula.

Read the bottle before calculating. A gram of a 10% vanillin stock contains 0.10 g vanillin and 0.90 g solvent. Include both contributions in the batch record.
